As well as extensive water in fields, flooding could also affect gardens of properties near Mock Bridge and may begin to approach buildings Wednesday afternoon. Only scattered showers are forecast Wednesday, with very little rain expected for the rest of the week. However, the river is unlikely to begin to fall until 20:00 09/10/2024, and will not return nearer to a normal level until Thursday evening 10/10/2024. River levels could end up similar to peaks of recent weeks. The river should begin to fall by 23:00 30/09/2024, and should return to normal from Tuesday afternoon. River levels could end up a little higher than they were last week. Scattered showers are most likely through Thursday, which should mean that river levels will not rise much further. The river should begin to fall by 22:00 on 26/09/2024, peaking at least half a metre lower than Monday. There is uncertainty in the weather forecast, but light rain on Wednesday (25/09/2024) followed by possible heavy showers through the early hours of Thursday could cause river levels to rise again. Flood impacts will begin to ease from 17:00 (07/05/2024), however, it might be Wednesday (08/05/2024) before river levels and flood risk have fallen significantly.
